AI and Gender Bias
This talk addresses the problem of gender bias when creating products or solutions that involve Artificial Intelligence (chatbots, virtual and voice assistants).

The way in which many virtual assistants were designed to "be" women (Alexa, Cortana, Siri, etc.), reinforce gender violence, misogyny and gender roles.

Is it possible to design genderless, neutral assistants? How do we want to think about these technologies in the future and help reduce the gap and inequality?

Speaker: Marina La Rosa, UX Designer
